Confedde is a design agency based in Toronto, Canada. They reached out to me to inquire about helping them develop their new website that they had already designed in Figma. My task for this project was to take their 2D designs and turn them into an online masterpiece that would help their brand presence in a competitive industry. Their current site was a one page "Contact Us" form that would not get visitors very often, so Confedde was in desperate need of a new online website.
My task for this project was to take their 2D designs and turn them into an online masterpiece that would help their brand presence in a competitive industry. Since the designs had already been made, I had the enjoyable job of implementing these via Webflow. Since Webflow is such a powerful and essentially limitless program, I was able to develop their vision exactly the way they wanted.
“The new site is SO much better than our last, thank you Jacob”
An interesting factor for this site was it's homepage hero banner. Confedde wanted the users to see something impactful right away, so we landed on creating an animation that would open up the site while the user scrolled, almost like a "big reveal". The challenging part of this section was that due to Apple's security protocols, the custom coded animations would not work correctly on Apple devices. To overcome this, I simply wrote a different script that does work on these devices that would activate once the site recognized what type of device the user is on.
Confedde and their many new users love the new website. Similar to Halton Food For Thought's website redesign, there was not a lot to work with in the beginning, but after a short period of development I was able to get both of these companies to a much better place on the web.
